Save the Children Fiji (SC Fiji) is a leading child rights Non-Governmental Organisation working to improve the lives of children.  SC Fiji is currently recruiting for the following position:

1. Project Officer (KANA) 

Reporting to the Project Manager (Livelihood), the Project Officer is responsible for the implementation of SC Fiji’s five-year Livelihood project in Ra.

This position is responsible for the implementation of activities of SC Fiji’s grant in partnership with Save the Children New Zealand – “Resilience through Knowledge and Action in Agriculture and Food Security” (KANA) project.

This position in partnership with communities and government will increase the resilience of communities and improve the outcomes for children affected by Cyclone Winston in Ra through agriculture and food security.

The position will work closely with communities for increased income and food security to improve children’s health, education and nutritional outcomes in Ra.

The Project Officer will be responsible for delivering the outcomes of the project working closely with the communities and schools in the target areas.

2. Child Protection Coordinator

This position is a member of the Child Protection team and will be responsible for the implementation of the Child Protection workplan and program development plans.

This includes Child Protection Policy technical support to Civil Society Organisations and Corporate Partners; development and implementation of Child Protection/Safeguarding training with stakeholders.

The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is directly responsible for Child Protection programmatic growth and securing funding through strategically aligned donors.

Potential candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Law, International Relations, Community Development or a Child Protection related field; proven expertise in Child Protection programming with substantial experience in protection development related work in Fiji and at least 5 years’ experience working in an NGO or in a child protection related organisation.
