Jasmine Whitbread - Save the Children CEO

Jasmine Whitbread was appointed CEO of the Save the Children in March 2010.

Jasmine served as Chief Executive of Save the Children UK from 2005 - 2010. Before joining Save the Children, Jasmine spent six years with Oxfam, first as Regional Director in West Africa, and then as International Director responsible for Oxfam's programmes worldwide. Prior to this, Jasmine was Managing Director of a Thomson Financial business, based in the US. She has a background in international marketing in the technology sector.

Jasmine graduated from the University of Bristol in 1986, and in 1997 completed the Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford, California. She holds dual British/Swiss nationality and is married with two children.
