It is almost two weeks since the tropical storm ravaged the Philippines. In an evacuation centre in the local gymnasium, children are singing.

It is a rare sound these days in Bagumbayan, one of the neighbourhoods in Metro Manila hardest-hit by Typhoon Ketsana.  

The children are all participating in a child-friendly space established by Save the Children. Here displaced children can find their voice and add a little normalcy to their upturned lives.
