Many of the children and families who have been displaced by Typhhon Ketsana and Parma in the Philippines have lost all their possessions are in urgent need of food, clean water, materials for shelters, clothing and personal items.
Families are currently living in evacuation centres that have been established throughout the affected regions. Damaged infrastructure makes family communication, as well as the delivery of supplies, exceedingly difficult, exacerbating affected families’ distress.
