Our Stories: Voices from Haiti: Jean

Save the Children together with a leading UK media channel embarked on an ambitious and exciting project to capture children’s voices from Haiti.

Stuart Bamforth, Save the Children’s Video Producer, ran 9 days of film workshops, training a group of six children in video production.

At the end of the workshops the children each produced their own unique film about their experiences and life in the aftermath of the earthquake on 12 January.

Leogane was hit badly by the earthquake on January 12, 2010. Tha majority of the buildings in the town were destroyed, making almost all of the population homeless.

11 year old Jean shows around the camp where he and his family are now living.
