Rebeca La Rose is 6 years old. She has been taken to Save the Children clinic to receive dietary supplements to ensure she is getting the nutrients and minerals missing from her diet. Rebeca also has malaria, which is getting more and more common in the camps.
Her house was destroyed during the earthquake and she is currently living in a temporary shelter made out of the sheets her family could salvage. Rebeca says she would feel safer if she could have a tent that could protect her from the rain. She used to go to school, but the school was damaged in the earthquake and she has not been able to return to it.
"I like to share and play with my friends at school. I miss school because now I can't see my friends anymore. I hope to be a teacher when I grow up."
