Every year millions of children die from treatable diseases. Save the Children has launched an ambitious five-year campaign to end this injustice, but we cannot do it alone.

Child Survival: A Rights Issue

New:  Children's rights are violated on a scale of 24.000 deaths a day - mostly from preventable diseases and lack of health services in poor countries. Legislative reform and human rights monitoring systems are needed to support the realization of the right to health and survival of children and adolescents, stated Save the Children in a new report today.  PDF fileDownload the report   [6 MB]

Without them, millions of mothers and children have no one to diagnose illnesses, dispense treatment, assist at births or provide immunisation.
