Lorraine is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in four jurisdictions (New Zealand, Fiji, Solomon Islands and Queensland, Australia.) Lorraine has over ten years experience in private commercial practice and has worked as a legal consultant over the past three years. She has been involved in legislative compliance reviews and legislative drafting projects with a UN Agency which included drafting child labou r regulations for Fiji and Kiribati. Lorraine has a keen interest in child protection and child labour in the South Pacific and particularly the challenges that face Pacific Island Countries in tackling these issues in the region. Lorraine is currently working as in-house Legal Counsel for a prominent Fiji company.
Lorraine became Board Chair of Save the Children Fiji in April 2017.

Romulo Nayacalevu was admitted to the High Court in Fiji in August 2004 after graduating with his law degree from the University of the South Pacific in Port Vila, Vanuatu in 2003. He started his legal practice in a private law firm in Suva, before joining the United Nations Human Rights office, Regional Office for the Pacific, as the first National Human Rights Officer in 2007. In 2011, he was appointed a Senior Trainer with the Secretariat of the Pacific Community’s Regional Rights Resource Team program and later became a Senior Human Rights Adviser in the same program. As a human rights lawyer, Romulo has advised and supported Pacific governments with their core human rights treaty obligations including the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), national human rights institutions (NHRI), and domestic and family violence legislations amongst others. In 2017 he was appointed the Manager Governance and Legal Affairs with the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG). Romulo also holds degrees in governance, international law, diplomacy and international affairs and is passionate about human rights and social justice.
