Tim spent over thirty years in international development with the United Nations Development Programme assigned to both north and south Sudan, Switzerland, North Yemen, Uganda, Laos, United States, and Fiji. He also worked for Save the Children (UK) in Uganda.

Following his retirement he has served, on a voluntary basis, as a board member for the Fiji Red Cross Society, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Save the Children Fiji, and Empower Pacific and also undertaken various consultancies.

He brings to the Board considerable experience in international development, his subsequent involvement in NGO governance and programme management, and his profound commitment to improving the wellbeing of children.

Tim joined the Board in 2007 and currently serves as it’s the Deputy Chairperson.
