Save the Children Fiji (SCF) began its operations in 1972, with a focus on assisting school children with funds for their educational expenses. SCF has worked in two key areas: advancing children’s educational development and child rights.Furthermore, SCF has been dedicated to making a meaningful contribution to the educational development of children, community capacity building and peaceful and fundamental transformation of disadvantaged communities. Currently, SCF’s five main programmes include Education, Health, Child Protection and Participation and Disaster Risk Reduction.
